How a Chiropractor Can Help You Maintain Your Health

Our health, and the decisions that we make regarding it, are among the foremost personal of choices.

Strategy One: Eliminate the intruder. Whether it’s applying weed killer to eliminate the dandelions in our field, or employing a chemical concoction to “kill 99.9% of germs on contact,” this approach sees the matter as “out there.” It’s a victim approach—we believe that we’re prey for the “bug that’s going around” or we have bad genetics or just plain bad luck.
  2. Strategy Two: Strengthen the host. Killing germs doesn’t automatically mean good health. Instead, this strategy employs ways to strengthen our immune system and enhance our ability to battle contagious invaders. This includes good nutrition, quality sleep, regular exercise, stress reduction and an important one is regular chiropractic checkups.

What strategy should we use? Both, of course.

Be conscious of unnecessarily exposing yourself to pathogens, meanwhile you are also optimizing your health and well-being thus your body will perform at its best.
